interesting debate there  shame i missed it. But i have to say this latest piece is outstanding, im so impressed with such a limited palette you have done extremely well to get the effects. The hair really makes her stand out and pulls the focus to her face.

Click to see full-sized imageneed your help now. what colours shall I use for the ballustrade and slabs she is staying on? I'd like something dark (for a nice contrast against her) yet realistic.

Someone is taking a leaf from Mahon's photoshop book  in my opinion from those i think the most realistic one would be the brown/sand colour one it suits the way the model has been painted the most. I think if you were to use a blue hue of stone a blue hue/shading over the model would have suited it more.
