I will be watching this too. Interesting first round indeed.

Totally got beat but good 49 to my 41 (give or take a half point or so)

there was some kind of mistake, I have 42.5 points, not 42.0 :WOW:
not that this changes anything :D oh my, need to do something more elaborate in the round 2 if I want to advance. It seems that dioramas/scenes are highly valued by judges. great, I suck at basing/terrain building/converting...

Congratulations to you all - not only for getting qualified to the next round, but also for taking the time to participate and finishing your entries!

I hear ya. I am going to have to step it up a notch as well if I am going to make it in to round 3 as well. my score was on the low side for all of the winners.
If it wasn't for the gutter my mind would be homeless.

Note to self: IP likes dioramas not simple bases. :bonk: :banghead: :censored:

the theme for the 2nd round is:
Full Metal Jacket
apparently we will see a set of movie themes this year :)

'our' matchups:
Skya vs Thryth
Nameless vs Bexley
A Luna vs. Neolis
CommanderY vs Bren
IvanDBA vs. Paintminion

I'm paired up with Bexley. Current IP champion. One of 6 participants who got over 50 points in the round 1 (51 vs my 42.5). Great :?
Skya and Bren also have really tough opponents, but at least they are skilled enough to pick up a fight :)
Paintminion is rather a favourite in her duel with Ivan.
Neolis and A Luna - that will be a close call, I tell ya :)

I'm not giving up, I'm not giving up... Gimme some time to think of a nice theme interpretation...
