unfortunately not dipped, I got impatient with a new paint and did what I do often and work with it a little wet. The colors bled in to the new one when it reactivated. Still new with the Taimita's I'm afraid. Oh well what ever that is done can be undo with a little extra work.
If it wasn't for the gutter my mind would be homeless.

Mind you neolis, this is just my opinion and should be taken as such, but I would think that the weapon would not be all metallic. Even in the far future I would expect parts of the weapon would be another colour besides metallic silver, perhaps black or grey, not nessicarily a colour perse but maybe a different material.
Now if the weapon is not done, then feel free to ignore my comments completely.
Little Dave: I am afraid I'm still at work. I did use some white but I want to give you an honest answer if it is my lights or my painting. I can not see the mini here but will correct this post when I get home.
+edit+ the white spots in the armor are from the lights. The metal is from thing mithral silver glazes.
Paintminion: Well this is the location I've gotten the most steady and productive feed back so it helps to keep me improving. The other point is get posting those pics ya bums.
Dragyn: your absolutly right about the gun and don't ever be afraid to post our opinion on my stuff. I'm a big boy and if I can tolerate a doctor yelling in my face some one offering ideas on my toys isn't going to bother me. I would like a color other then black or grey as thats what the uniorm is going to be. Blue seems like a natural choice but not sure I am thrilled with that. What do you think would do well?

A midnight blue would have been my first choice after the black and grey. If the metal was a little darker then perhaps an off white or very pale yellow almost sand colour to represent some kind of cermaic type material and to tie it a bit to the yellow armour? I have a little trouble visualizing it, but I do know it when I see it if that makes sense.
