Well, of course it looks like Bloodthirster, but that is because Bloodthirster is so bland and generic "big red angry horned/winged deamon". Maybe GW should do their things not so generic (actually slaanesh and nurgle are much "original" than Bloodthirster)...

Well, it is obvious that UltraForge has made their "wardeamon" just like BloodThirster because it would sell better that way, but BT himself is "definedly not balrog" so copy cat is copying a copy cat. I just dont see BT as a masterpiece of originality to begin with. Maybe weapon swap from sword to axe is GW:s big thing...

EDIT: Ah! UltraforgeÂ´s balrog does not have whip! It has only sword.

now here's some news for you: the lord of the rings has been a book with no visualisation or copyright for those none existing visualisations (no shit?!) so even IF the bloodthirster is drawn from "a winged demon with horns" (oshit, theres no fire, no shadow, no flame on the bloodthirster) there is obviously no copy right infringment.

Here's some more news: Ofc. it gets difficult to do orignial stuff, because everything has been done in a way or another, but you dont need to invent the wheel everytime you start something new, just dont go and blantantly steal from people?! now you go and copy AN EXISTING MINI that is covered by copyrights and sell it to make money off of someone elses IP - how close to theft can it get?

or is it just THE BAAAAAAAAAAD BAAAAAAAAAAD COMPANY, GO ON STEAL FROM THEM GOOOD GOOOOOOOOOOOOD THEY DESERVE IT...i wonder if ANY of the honks that are bashing GW continously EVER thought about the fact that our retarded hobby would be nowhere if GW never existed...now go bash that.

1. lousy indeed. I do believe though, that this one is much less lousy:
"GW is using fantasy cliches, that were used by so many others before their time".
I'm saying this very generally, not with regards to that specific demon model. I believe we all here agree that it is (or is too close to) a copy

Seriously, no it's not, and I don't think that Nicodemus said it. I agree with what he said - ultraforge demon is supposed to resemble bloodthirster to increase sells, but at the same time bloodthirster is just a standard visualization of a hell demon.

Hmmm... Maybe it is difference in culture, and maybe it was not meant to be aggressive and bashing but it sure did seem like that. So that was my cue of getting out of here, and maybe find place that does not seem so aggressive.

Personally what gets me nuts is the futile atitude of hidding the obvious.

Ultra forge is breaking GW IP and done that in the past and had problems with it... and now its doing the same thing... add to that that they photoshop their paint works and you have a company that i will not support.
I don take lightly the fact that they are behaving in such a way and as such they will not see one cent from me..

Besides their sculpts are inferior to FW ones.

I go as far of saying its one of those companies that i dont mind if they get their asses sued to the bone.

As for Nicodemus... its your choice but 7 posts in 7 months its hardly called posting man

If CofC is to agressive as you say.... then you better prepare yourself for the insanity on most hobby forums outhtere
