Good tips and about the same way I thought about the situation. That shows me I was on the right track...

Sorry for the double posting and boring you with it but I feel it's working therapeutic!:P

I just had a looong converstaion with her and she told she does like me but that she doesn't want to hurt anybody.

I gave her the advice that although it's good that she doesn't want to hurt anybody, that she comes first! That means that sometimes you've got to hurt somebody to make things better, and not for the sake of keeping something going that isn't working... (you only hurt yourself!)

I deliberetly took hurting me as an example instead of her boyfriend so that no one thinks I'm trying to drive a wedge between them...

I'll get over it eventually...

I said the things Nav also suggested and that I would back off if she wanted. She said she would be really sorry if we didn't talk or meet anymore as she really likes me and my presence, so a good thing that came out of it is that it might eventually end up in a positive way for me!

I've got time on my side so I'll be patient and without overdoing it will try to do my best...

That's the best thing to do in your current situation. It seems, that she feels good in your presence. This however does not mean, that she wants to get involved in a deeper relationship with you. Even if she does - it is always difficult to break up with somebody. No matter if he is a dick, as you say.
Give her time to think about it and wait for any signal from her, encouraging you to make another step. Be prepared, that such signal may not come at all...
If your assesment of situation, her feelings and behaviour is correct, I believe that sooner or later you'll get closer to each other.

I am not the best person to give any kind of relational advice, but you have a good head on your shoulders and you have set things out for her and you so be patient and the right thing will happen.

We're here to listen and support Skrit, with seriousness and/or humor as needed. I am also sure that there are any of us that would be more than willing to listen in PM as well.

I'm not the best person on this topic either, I have fallen on my face a couple of times quite badly... Still I wanted to join the row of supporters here . I'm sure you'll do the best you can do, your instinct wont't leave you alone and everything will go fine. Just be yourself, don't try to appear different than you are.

Okay first of all I'll go mushy on you and want to say I love you all! You might not know it but your support has helped me through some pretty hard moments and it does me proud to be a member of this community!

Uhm, the update is that we talked for about 4 hours on the phone yesterday. About all kinds of stuff really, but the good thing I now know is that she does have feelings for me.

I'm gonna take it slow as said before, and be me. I'm gonna treat her right and show her how it can/should be!:)
