finally something painted!
only the vehicle and only part of it but it still counts!
I will add some shiny bits to break the yellow and I am wondering about painting engine top (these pipes or whatever it is) silver - what do you think?
this ooor maybe other contrast - black?

I like the idea of something silver to break the contast, with some nasty oil leak to make it greasy, orkish

Nice painting so far (is that vehicle converted/selfmade cause I never saw one like that?). I would go with Hellspawn's advice - silver with some oil leak will give it a nice touch and contrast.

And sth more since I am still here: it's slowly getting done - the modular table I started building last year is (almost) ready for getting paintjob. As you can see there is one module left to be sanded (still wondering about rearranging or rebuilding the ruins to make them even more gaming friendly) but I think it's fine time to start planning paintjob.
The sand is attached with pva glue and before any paint is applied I will probably add another layer or glue just in case. I remember last time I was painting sand lots of it fell off with every brush stroke...
The plan is to paint whole sand surface with diluted acrylic paint (olive / dark brown hue?) to give it bit shade and when it's dry - solid brush applied layer of matt varnish. I was thinking about spray but the ground must be as solid as possible and spray would probably cover only the top.
So - any ideas or suggestions? Mostly about painting technique that is - really don't wanna screw up this one
