I didn't mind the long nails, it looked like a giant badass morgenstern. I find them a little bit too short (maybe still time to do something in between?)

The skin tone on the big guy is really good 
if i was really converting it to the max, i'd have put some metal plates to him to give him some make-shift armour etc too. But i like the colour variations you've given him, maybe a tattoo to give more detail on the model since it has so much skin? Still i like it very much atm.

got your point about morgenstern but I think I will rather make kinda trench club of it:
1. heavy club
2. nails
3. barbed wire around the top
(@Nameless: is there barbed wire in jama?)
I think I will seriously re-consider using them when the fleshtone is done;
and as for tattoo - the idea is really fine, sadly my freehand-fung fu sucks as hell
