Re: Reaper - news
Pinnacle and Reaper Team Up to Produce Savage Worlds Miniatures!
Exciting news for all you Savage World fans out there! For the first time in 15 years, Pinnacle entertainment is releasing figures for Deadlands, and we're going to be making them!
Shane Hensley, president of Pinnacle shares, "Deadlands is having a big year with lots of big surprises on the way, and one of the best is a great new partnership with Reaper! We're particularly excited that we're starting the line with incredible new sculpts of Deadlands' four servitors--Dr. Darius Hellstromme, Reverend Grimme, Raven, and the Weird West's deadliest undead gunslinger--Stone!"
Here at Reaper, our crew simply love playing Savage Worlds, moreso now that we have cool miniatures to be playing with. We're all looking forward to good things coming from this partnership with Pinnacle.
So, releasing in May just in time for ReaperCon:
Officially Licensed Savage Worlds Miniatures
59001: Reverend Grimme $5.99
59002: Raven $5.99
59003: Dr. Darius Hellstromme $5.99
59004: Stone $5.99
All sculpted by the incomparable Bob Ridolfi.

Re: Reaper - news
well, that sculpt is for Deadlands game, and IIRC that Brom's piece was also produced for DL, so actually it may be the same character

Re: Reaper - news
Indeed, Brom did some (all?) Deadlands artwork.
This must be excellent news for RPG players.
Sculpting wise I don't think there's going to be anything groundbreaking...

Re: Reaper - news
I don't feel like paying for a box I don't really need, so I hope the price increase is not caused by addition of those plastic cases, which look like sandwich boxes, indeed ^^
Re: Reaper - news
now I wish they made the miniature stand up to my HIGH expectations
Re: Reaper - news
So Reaper is going to introduce yet *another* line?
Hopefully the sculptors actually get concept art for these miniatures. They don't get any at all for the Chronoscope line.

Re: Reaper - news
IMHO many of the Chronoscope figures are good; but I am a RPGer and they fit many concepts for characters. I judge the art of the figure less important (remember I am a player first, artist way down the list).
