Marines should be done tomorrow evening, missing a bit of lining and the bases (I'll do those later) (will post a pic when they'll be done (even without the bases), so should be able to start working on this:

I'll add some FW doors, and I'm gonna try to magnetize some of it to use it either as a Rhino or as a Razorback to save a bit of money

Here is the look of the finished marines (still need to do the bases and the decals):

Only five on the picture cause I was too lazy setting them all
This is how I'm gonna paint the bases:

And this is what I've started tonight:

It's not based completely cause I only wanted to base the inside for painting so the outside received the leftover paint

Regarding the white Salamander head on the shoulder pads, it's part of the fluff, Salamanders aren't really like other chapters regarding this. Most chapters use the border of the pad to show which company they're part of, though, the Salamanders have the shoulder pad border of the same color than the rest of the armor (unless they're veterans) and they designate the company they're part of with the color of the Salamander head and the color of the background color of the shoulder pad.
Example:
The Fire Drakes (1st Company): White salamander head on black left shoulder
Battle Company (3rd Company): Yellow salamander head on black left shoulder
Reserve Company (5th Company): Black salamander head on yellow left shoulder
Scout Company (7th Company): Black salamander head on white left shoulder

They look awesome

i particularly like how vivid and rich the colours are! Personally i think the white salamander symbol works really well on the models, especially when you've mixed up some white into the armour plating or else the models would look a little dark. But this is great, so are you going to do some awesome freehand work on your razorback?
