There are only wulgar words that can express how impress I'm right now. Like in this Polish joke.
What each nation says, when they see something beautiful:
Englishman: This is so beautiful!
German: Das ist wunderbar!
Polish: Oh fcuk!

Undead Pirate is done... pictures soon, so far only a video. I painted this figure for a contest on YouTube, that's why the WIP pictures are shown at the end of the video.

ok dont like the blade especialy the outer sude of it (back side) - it is same hue as the black shirt - to similar to act as other material especialy as a mettal
what i like :
pants , lether belt ent back of the shirt (you can icen go fat stronger light (almoust white - but thine line or iven tiny dots - of it "a shimeting light on surface" )
scull end bones .. wel good but could get difrent cvllor - this is again reali clouse to rest of the greys so it melds in (if you change temperature of it - pus it to Cold or warm it would stand out )_

Thank you for your comments!
Yeah painting bones is really something I always have trouble with. I just can't seem to find a good color for it...

His outfit is cool: the jacket and trousers.
The skull and bones: well, I usually start with black - bestial brown - dark flesh - ...- bleached bone. Plain white-grey-black usually doesn't look convincing.

Nice looking paintjob, I think the red really helps make it pop. The gem on the pendant is very nicely done too.
As for the bone, *puts on anth-major hat* bone really doesn't look as pristine as many people seem to think it does. The only time you're going to see it white is if it's been outright bleached (whether in the sun or via chemicals). Most of the time it runs between a creamish off-white almost to brown, depending on how the blood settled (the more blood that settled in that part of the body, the darker the color of the bone). Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like you worked it up from a grey, which I feel is the wrong way to go about it. As Marek said, starting with a brown base is going to get the most realistic look, and unless it's specifically intended to be bleached (which, skeleton, it just might be) don't go all the way up to white. Bleached bone is actually a pretty decent color for how the lighter end of the bone spectrum is going to look.

I won the contest I painted this figure for!

Ok there wasn't that much of a competition and the painting on my pirate probably isn't worth to win anything, but it's nice to see my effort being rewarded.
