I do, you know why? If a sculpt is made by a competent sculptor theres a big change it will be interesting to paint once its on my hands, I'm yet to see a 3d sculpt with a soul. How its cast also important, I dont want FW problems no thank you sir and the material? Yup I also care about that, some stuff that i would buy in metal I will not buy in resin due to being to fragile to handle etc. All bears to my final decision to get a mini or not. Not only that but also the destination for the mini... display or gametable etc. Im to picky I know. :|

we basically think the same, Nav.
all I want to say is that I won't reject a product automatically because it's 3d sculpt, resin cast or whatnot.
I want an interesting concept - I don't really care if it's based on artwork or imagined by 3yo kid.
I want a quality cast - i.e. crisp details, no moldlines, easy assembly, even surface, durable mini.... I don't care if it from resin, metal or crap, as long as it meets my requirements.
so on, so on...

No we dont I would not want a miniature casted in crap  I reject 3d as much as I reject Prepainted... when I see one actual miniature that looks good I will be pleased... untill then mehhh.

if a prepainted mini is good - I can accept it
if a 3d-digitally-sculpted mini is good - I have nothing against it
unfortunately usually they're not as good as their counterparts made by human hands... but this doesn't mean exceptions cannot happen.

I would love to see any of their minis painted. just to see if they're as good for painting, as their concepts/digital versions suggest...
