but shiny metalics definitely need to me washed/weathered

IMHO the golden stripe on the dress is cool, I llike the eyes too.
I would make the freehand on the shield sharper (add a light line and black line under the design could be helpeful)

I like the reds, I like the gold, I like the skin, I like the metallics...
...but I dislike the green lips and eyelids. Sorry...
Painting-wise it's very good. I just am not convinced by the color choice.

I really like the fade that happens on the free hand of the shield. I am looking foward to what you have planed for the wood prtion of the weapon and the metals.

I have to agree with Mahon here, those parts just don't work for me. The rest, especially the shield, is really well done however.

Hi guys bit of an update to a project iv been working on for quite a long time now. on the front their isnt much of a change, iv finally sorted out the aquilla, iv replaced the plasticard of the loincloth (what is the proper name of those tassles?
) with thinner more realistic pewter, ill also be puttin some gems on his belt.
The biggest update is to the backpack, iv had to work my way through several ideas to get to this stage, am thinking about placing a few more test tubes somewhere on the backpack to sell the combat drugs idea, once painted the central mixing compartment will be half filled with coloured resin to again sell the effect, still a few bits to tidy up here but am very happy with it.
Lastly the head, this one is the rough head, iv been trying to sculpt some wavy hair on him so theirs a little bit of motion, also iv been considering having half his head shaved so some combat drug tubes/plugs fit. Very happy with how he is coming along, i am lookin to take him to gduk, so keep an eye out for some quick prgress!

sculpting work is good, but I just don't like this mini. not my cup of tea, I suppose.

Nice piece of sculpting, it's progressing well. I think the pose is a bit static but i guess if he is just standing there it's a good pose

he is a little static i admit, tbh it was an ambitious project at the time for me (started it nearly 2 years ago) my next one will me posed alittle more ambitiously
