When I first saw this little piece (originally Ramon - Steampunk sorcerror by Wyrd, 28 mm) I wanted to paint him. But not as steampunk sorcerror, but as my favourite game character - Gabriel Knight, Schattenjäger (means Shadownunter in english) hero of adventure trilogy from Sierra. I love the dramatic feeling of this mini which suits the moment of his decision - is he the Schattenjäger, or not...?
As a tribute to original game trilogy, I tried to paint boxart of Gabriel Knight - The Beast Within as a freehan on his bag.
Lot of W.I.P. pictures can be found on my blog:
https://dtsmodelling.blogspot.com/ - it's in slovak lang, but pictures doesn't need any translation
And as always - any comments, ideas or critics are welcome...

My first 54 mm figure from Scibor Monstrous. Not the best one from their production, but there was something I liked on him. Painted mostly with natural colours (brown&green) contrasting with red hair&beard. Thanx to Majo & Cesnak for good ideas & critics

I like green colours here, that's why I;ve asked for a recipe

but, generally I'm disappointed. don't get me wrong, this is not a bad paintjob. I suppose I got used to something better from you. I think that this time colours do not work well together, and this is what I usually like best about your minis. Also, transitions on the robe are not too smooth in few places.
Overall - nice mini, but not your top quality.

You are right, I had some hard times with this mini and it was my way out from my painting crisis - finish this dwarf whatever it costs. And the price is: I am not fully satisfied with the result, but I'm happy it's done.

I sign under this with my both hands and feet. It happens quite often with my painting attempts.
