I like a lot of the AT models but some of them are not my taste either. I hope some day a few will be made in 54 mm... but I guess that'll never happen. Well at least I can have some fun in trying to make the models look like the artwork (color wise). I think it's nice to paint some brightness every now and then :-)

Interesting minis, but see some definite FF influence here. . . .

this time I wasn't impressed at all :( sorry
I am either bored with it, or maybe they're going into the same thing as other manufacturers who just need to mass-produce "troops" for their gamers, or maybe this is just a weaker batch comparing to the previous ones?

I think this batch is more gamer-oriented. For example check out that magic-wielding girl. The real miniature misses some serious detailing when compared to the concept art: the fiddly pink things on the cloth, the flowers, the bracelet....

I don't like these three that much either. I think it's partly due to the sculpts but I think the paintjobs are a bit boring too. Particularly the female two could use some freehands and/or funky color transitions.

These models aren't very detailed, but I thought people didn't like the AT models because they are too detailed ?? We are never satisfied I guess :-D

Anyway, I hope you like the one I'm painting right now, it's a februari release I think. We'll see by then...

Concept arts are realy good, I do not like manga but poses are very nice balanced. On sketches pose is balance for heavy wepon and I feel stand or move of character. On sculpture i see nice details but pose is bad copy of artwork.

I really like the paintjob on many of these models but i don't really like the models themselves.
