I mean, are they using some very fine pointed brush? like what brand name? or some special techniques? :)
A steady hand, thin paint a lot of practice and sometimes they don't stick to the part that's sculpted but paint it a bit larger and then disguise that by the 'make up' or blacklining :)


Excellent stuff btw Mahon, I've seen most of them somewhere allready but they make for an excellent addition to the thread. My favourite is Volgor. Original skintone and amazing technique and skill.

This is another one of Automatons - That shield is flat too, it has no definition in it! He has painted it up to make it look like it has rusted away to make gruves!

I just saw this one on the spanish forum a minute ago. This is amazing stuff, the shield has me stunned and the metallics are superb.
