Great stuff, ToMaZ.
I find it interesting, that even more and more painters move to bigger scales (54mm+), paint large models (monsters) and use techniques used previously by historical models painters.

yeah, but I think that Andrea and Enigma miniatures have a big hand in this. Releasing fantasy stuff on historical scale. I guess that opened the historical market for a lot of fantasy painters :) Like me, I painted that andrea elf and now I have a couple of historical figs laying around :)

I know that Jaume Ortiz (a spanish historical painter) painted Yarry, the hobbit from Enigma miniatures, but other than that I know of little historical painters that paint fantasy things. I can only think of Vincenti on CMON.

Then again, I don't know that much of the historical painters scene :p
