Me, i think the oposite theres nothing that says termis cant have alternative tools/ weapons in fact, if you follow only codexes blind WYSIWYG you end up castrating imagination... besides its not a gaming exercise.
For example i remember those cool slaanesh themed termis with amazing diferent weapons and tools and thats what i whant to see on a termi.
I just dont care if a termi doesnt have combi yadda yadda bolter x and instead has a cool lamp device etc.

I do not wrote about that figs in the game term. I just do not like figs with BIGGER than life sticks in their hands. Its look wrong...

Part of the stick above his hand is too thin, flames look unnatural, part below his hand is too long...

I kinda agree with Slawek. It doesn't bother me as much as him but that pole is indeed bit too long.

I see, your refering to the shape/style of the equipment rather than the game legality of the equipment.

Well since its a banner with a scroll of some sort its more ornamental than practical so extra big size is ok for me... what i do like is the little lamp thing on his hand, very original.

Its not about size but more about proportions. See in this work banner is bigger but look cool and fine for me

way to big that banner, even if respecting concept art... it just takes all attention away from the mini.

begin brom to try to train on special effect on metal, i use ink to shade the metal parts
