The first one look much more like "aztec" faction from Dark Age than anything related to Helldorado...

It's cause he's an Aztec God. The "Lost" are a "mixed" faction and you can meet there demons, birds, insects and in this case, a gorilla. If you read about the "Lost", you'll understand why it's not THAT far from the rest
