Really beautiful piece. Particularly like how you've "lit" the miniature, where you put the highlights. Something to learn from I guess.

Where did the base come from? Or did you make it yourself?

Must say I really like that base with flag, especially the contrast on it and freehand is great! Also metalic parts on the mini turned out very well. However, it's a pity that there isn't such a contrast on the clothes too.
Are you going to the Ingolstadt with it?

I think the contrast is very good on the clothes, bigger scale miniatures don't need such strong contrast - check the bigger photos. It also gives a nice dark mood to the mini.
