My first entry in Hussar 2011 competition - Andre de Montbard from Hell Dorado.

It didn't win anything, but I am happy how it has turned out. The contest was a big motivation to finish this project and now I am happy looking at in as it stands on my shelve :)

C&C are welcome as always :)

Really nice piece - it will look really fine in your glass case 8)

That looks superb, you're getting better and better with each model. I think the only tiny tiny thing is that the sword hilt does not look as well done as the rest of the model. The freehands, the cloth is spot on. I'm going to sit here and stare at this for a while now.

Thank you guys!
I agree about the sword, it doesn't look nice. I had problems with painting it and wasn't shure how to paint it. At the end it has turned out dirty so I added 'a bit of' blood :)

as I told you at the Hussar - fantastic job. it's a huge progress for you and great improvement in quality. the only problem for me is a bit too big scenery for this model.
of couse it could be used to show how massive and powerful the castle is, but then you would have to add some small touches to make the wall more interesting. like pigeons sitting on the window, spiderwebs, broken bricks/stones, grapevine, etc.
