Hi it's been a long time without painting and i was eager to get the machine running.
so i decided to give a go with GS and do a remake on some really old death guard SM ( i think those are the first in plastic GW launched)

Do the picture is not the best i liked the result

after some thought i left one of the five in the original form.
I liked so much messing with GS that i decided to give another go, and build a nurgle ogryn deamon

I finished it yesterday, i will try to get some better pictures.
The white thingy is a kind of nurglish flame thrower.
I did the stomach, half of the face, relaced the arms and did the boots from scratch, since i think that he was too small and now he is 1 cm taller
In the back he has the container linked to the white thingy
Hope everyone likes
Cheers and its good to be back

I don't know about the others but I know I like them. It even took me a moment to realize these REALLY were the old plastic plague marines! Good job, but now let us see them painted

But now im a little stuck, i think they need some color, any sugestions?
Im thinking of painting the nurgle stuff kind or red or gory.

highlight them to ivory. maybe in a streaky way - something like what Corvus did on his latest bust but more subtle?
then have some fun with glazes to add come decolorations - like greens and purples in shadows.
what do you think?

Yes, lots of work to go.
the highligts are going to a almost white, as for the shadows they already have green, but i agree they need a little more and purple or/and dark flesh should go nicely
Thanks

Definately looking good with some colour now, and i agree with Mahon, i think an ivory would be awesome with greens and purples as varying colours.

keep going !

i want to see more hehe
