while I like the back of the cloak, I am not really convinced by the way you painted flesh.
maybe because it shows what I don't like about this sculpt (the muscles) and doesn't look very healthy.

It's not a very big model, is it? it must be very brave of you to post such closeups...

as for the 'chunky' basecoat lol, the mini is actually a mis-cast a friend gave me (the mini is from kabuki models, its not quite released yet) and iv missed some of the rougher area, its a shame but theirs not a great deal i can do about it now

I cannot say what do I miss in fleshtone - painting healthy skintone has always been great challenge for me

but as for armanent - some turquoise oxidation would look nice

for now am considering hellenika 'finished' iv had a lot of critque on her over the last few days and whilst i dont think my pics quite show her in the best of light alot of the comments iv got where bang on, so i will be going back to her over the next few weeks.

from now on (bar any wamp ladder challenges) ill only be working on 3 projects, the wl's, the squiggy races dio and my emps champion. the last 2 i really want to take to gduk so i need to get them up and goin . am also hoping to finish the grot duel for gd after i get the wls finished

iv still got some work to do by the hilt and only the one sides done

iv also made some progress on the emps child, the backpack is being totally reworked, but i know exactly wot it want, so hopefully it wont stall again ill have some pics up next week

I was looking at the pics on heresy and wamp, the sword is really nice and it contrasts well with the black armour of the wraithlord, will you keep the armour black also? Can't wait to see the progress.

I think with your spartan girl model, some deeper shadows would help it a bit but one thing is that it's very much your style and some cleaning up of the features would help it but it looks pretty good at the moment.

vey nice job, but don't you want to pull some highlights along the edges of the blade?

@mahon - am still working on the blade, it'll have a few sharp shighlights on its edges

am sculpting waistcoats on all the riders so i can get some team colours on them and some bits to paint numbers on to maintain the race theme. am also looking at sculpting a wood elf nymph/fairy poking its nosey head round the tree

also been working on my wamp ladder mini, the theme is ghostly but do u guys think She is?

The races are coming along nicely, looking forward to the fleshing out of the nymph (wish I could sculpt) but the whole diorama just makes me laugh

The ghost girl looks intriguing, wouldn't mind having a go at something like that myself

that grot is more dynamic than all 3 parts of matrix together!
