The cloak looks to be a bit chalky to me but the overall work is great, well done with the placing in the comps... I'd be happy to come 5th out of 5

and another new company for me - Scibor Monstrous Miniatures this time. I asked Scibor to convert his dwarf bust, so that I can have my own Gotrek Gurnisson, the most famous dwarf ever ;)
Scale was also new to me, he's so much bigger than the first bust I have painted.

so, here it is, the mini no. 18/2009 - Gotrek Gurnisson, or in fact his head only :)

I like it too, the skin looks quite rubbery and more realistic then many other models out there, but i think it looks a little flat on the facial area. But still a really great bust. They do look like alot of fun!

Not really convinced by the paintjob on the skin. Hard to disagree with Arctica....
Technical things aside, I really think you created an eyecatching piece, full of character.

And I like it better than the original sculpt :D

I just wonder why most of your colors are so desaturated, so pale. I've seen the model in person and that was my general feeling - maybe it's because of the paints you use, or maybe your method of highlighting, but generally I feel that a little more color/saturation would make your models look more alive and eyecatching.

But I ain't sure if it isn't your deliberate choice...

I don't know why. It is not my intention to use desaturated or pale colours, I suppose it just comes this way.
Perhaps it is my style, perhaps I don't know how to achieve 'proper' saturation, I honestly can't give you a definite answer to your question :)
