Indeed the snow flocks and the interesting combination of the clothes patterns is very artistic, then theres the hidden artistic message that says bambu leafs are not only for pandas... very artsy.

I also get the feeling, that artworks present typical manga faces and the mini`s faces are painted European style, i. e. diffrent eyes

I especially dislike the faces. They are not no absolutely unmangalish, they´re also not really well sculpted in my opinion.
