bah that's exaclty what rackham is changing to. Something like GI-joe with rules.

I think I'm gonna buy a couple of rackham sculpts I like while I still can then.

from rather reliable source I heard that R is closing its metals factory within 2 months. so far they claim they`ll be releasing some metal heroes and that they`ll be casted by outsource companies. question is - why would they do this? as the whole line goes prepaint why would you release unpainted metals? would you take some logistic problems on you to release some metal minis? i think not, so i believe there will be only prepaints for confrontation in a future (2 years?). at the moment the situation is quite similar to at43 - before at43 release they`ve claimed that there is a possibility for unpainted minis for this system. have you seen any so far?
well, i wish i`m wrong...

@Tomaz: those prepaints are made from soft plastic. not so soft as some historical minis i`ve seen, but not as tough as gw ones.

I believe up untill now there's only one model from at-43 that's available unpainted through the online store only.

so basically yo can say that there are no metal minis for at43 ;).
oh, and i`m sure that those prepaints will be much more expensive that unpainted metals - simply check the prices of at43 minis.

only a tear of happyness  like justice been done!

but i got to give it to them this is by far the worst thing ever done in miniature history :)

10 years defending something and all nice with painters and when they are fat enough kick everyones ass out of the door and spitting on own history... these guys dont deserve to be in the industry if you ask me.
