Re: zombie WIP
thanks but what about photo quality? do you like reduced light and printed background?
Re: zombie WIP
To me it looks better than the artificial background. I'd only suggest to move the background like 10cm back (maybe more) to make it softer and more out-of-focus. The miniatures will look relatively sharper if the background looks less sharp than now.

Re: zombie WIP
thanks mate!
I know background should not be so close but at this stage it's a technical matter how to make it stand without big box behind*...
I ltook the last pic today:
models look ok but the background not really - it's darker in reality but I think it's fault of laser printing - it reflects light despite 2 solid coats of matt spray varnish
*apparently it's time to search for smaller box or something

Re: zombie WIP
It looks like you're on right way, just need some improvements... First - find some fine inkjet printer and print that background sheets I sent you, with highest quality on standard 80g office paper. You'll get solid and smooth background without shine. Then you can have the background just behind the miniatures (no need to place it 20 cm away) and with good result. I also think that laser printers does not print the right colours, I always prefer inkjets...

I'll be very happy if I manage to find even black and white ink printer
it's especially visible on my pics - that yellowish hue ain't something what should be printedLe6n wrote:I also think that laser printers does not print the right colours, I always prefer inkjets...
oh wekk - I'll try to do some searchings and if that doesn't helps - I can also try to paint background myself
Re: zombie WIP
Although I have laser printers at work, the one at home is an inkjet

Re: zombie WIP
Hehehehe, I didn't change the printer, because its printing results are much better than laser... I could send you backgrounds in envelope
