Skin, cloth and armour padding is considered to be done for now. The Tina Turner hair and most of the fiddly bits are not. Blacklining etc also needs to be done.

You're right about the arms though.

Looks like Thomas is getting back up to speed with painting! :)

I really like the base of the bull. Are these plant roots of some kind?

Yeah I was doing some gardening and some of those weeds I was removing had some really nice roots :)

I'm also a big fan of roots (as seen in my recent blog post https://corvusminiatures.blogspot.com/20 ... trees.html), but you seem to have left on a lot of those flimsy side-roots. How will you paint them?

I'm going to be building up colour through glazing I think. If that doesn't work I'll just carefully paint them and hope for the best

I rarely prime my bases. I like to use the colours of the material itself as a basecolour or I basecoat with various colours like grey, brown, blue etc...

I painted a bit today! Smooth music and a new desk is quite motivating :)
I decided to work on my small Circle of Orboros force again. The third army I need painted for my warmachine/hordes games.

So with tabletop quality in mind, I managed to paint most of the figure today.
I hope I'll be able to paint the rest equally fast :)
