I think this is one of reasons of bad photos - you overlighted the stage. Light is coming from everywhere and there's too much light. I've sent you some suggestions which may help...

I actually think the quality of Demi's pics have improved a lot lately

I think it's because I learnt more about my camera - that's it;
but there's still lots to improve

I wish my pics were of that level! I bought a lighttent that works okay but I definitly need better lamps.

still not sure about it but the damn gloss on the base disappeared after I turned off top lamp
