I don't think that pants are too close in colour to skin tones. Actually, I'd encourage you to paint everything using this limited palette of earth/autumn colours.

Ha you just gave me an idea for the colours on his pet
If I paint everything in earthtones it would surely fit the desert/wanderer feel I have in my mind now. Still have to take care that it wouldn't be too boring, without variation

Kroot hounds. I cut of the quils and roughly added some milliput to add some fur and leather on to create a visual link to lathiem's cape.

I like the Kroot hounds alot and it fits Imo.

good job on this one, ToMaZ! I love the way you painted his eyes, but the skin on his body (not so much on the face). Doesn't look as goofy as I initially expected.

nice pj but even this cannot save the sculpt imo
