Re: Tomaz's WIP's
I love this model, the barbarian, not the pig-like thing next to him.
The skintone is heading in the good direction, but at present the color of his pants is too similar to the skin, in my opinion at least. It would be good to diverse the colorse a little bit during next stages.

Re: Tomaz's WIP's
Thank you Marek!
You're right about his pants. It's pretty similar at the moment. I think it's because I worked in the same basecolour. I need to improve on the contrast anyway so it will look different in the end
I'm planning to add a different colour via the metallics. I'm going for copper/bronze with some heavy verdigris for all metals. I think the green of the verdigris will contrast nicely with the reddish colours in the skin and pants.

Re: Tomaz's WIP's
That base looks interesting
i love how much detail is in it, im guessing it took you a long time to make it? ^^
I'm sort of torn with the pet as such because it does kind of suit the whole scene but it looks a little strange at this moment but perhaps a lick of paint will help resolve that.
The barbarian I agree about the pants, i think he needs something a little extra to make him pop and become the focal point. I can't wait to see the whole model, your earthy almost monotone feel might work rather well, so definitely lots to play with.

Re: Tomaz's WIP's
Thanks Arctica!
I'm not 100% sure about the pet yet either, but it still needs some work. I need to add fur, get rid of the grenades etc. Let's see if it works out when I make some more progress
If not, I'll have to find something else to fill up that base...
The base did take a lot of work. But I'm not really satisfied yet. It feels a bit too empty atm. I wanted to add bones or some other extra detail of some sort, but I don't have any and am too clumsy to sculpt them. If I could find a skeleton of a small mouse in the garden I would be happy, but my cat is coöperating atm ^^
