You used not many colours - lots of greys. It's ok but:

While the base is also grey (stones) there is no contrast between base and model. Stones are also to bright for me - it would be better to make them darker, to make the mini more important, give it fokal point.

Sword and lava are my favourite elements

Good one, your best NMM so far (on the sword) and nice reflections from lava (although lava itself could benefit from more warmer - for example orange - tones, you seem to have used colder yellows and reds, which make lava look a bit cold to me). other NMM parts lack the shininess and smoothness, but they're decent too.

you must have gotten quite many of these AoW minis. liked them so much or won them as some kind of award?

This is really cool your NMM has improved a lot and the OSL from the base is really nice. I agree about the darklines on the shield being a bit messy, but i still think you could make the skin a bit more crisp and cleaner as far as painting goes as it lacks a little depth.

got myself one mini, entered the contest, won 1 more, waited few months for the prize, finally got 3

one more mini from the Hall of Shame few more months and it will be empty

I've forgotten to post this mini from my Hall of Shame I finished thanks to the Reaper forum Spring Painting Contest the pic was kind of last-minute project, maybe I'll try to make a new one
