So, i tried to do more color nuances (hardly to see on photos) and some final highlight tips.
and here is the first progress on the arm. I think i am getting into it, making more contrast. I think on the rust part it is a good improvement or am i wrong?
Armor parts are just basecolor.

more contrast is almoust alvays good thing when you paint things that are is scale - as the human eye will "meld" colors on thini things end actualy desaturete them (thats the effect of how human eye is build)
so more contrast - good - as in final result human eye will moustly c a corect 1
beside rust is a realy contrast thing .- i made a lot of photos of Rusting things when i whas on vacation - end trust me contrast is incredible same as collors

WoW! you are really good in copping Bohun

I think what you are doing is the best way to learn. I do the same

I want to learn NMM and that is why there are lots of Rackham minis on my workbench and I copy studio's paint jobs

It helps me to understand how the contrast/light works on a miniature.
I agree with Maru to highlight the rust stronger.

Cool colours! I like it a lot. The contrast is great as well. The rust/copper does need a bit more 'pop'

Photo seems to be yellowish, thus hard to say about the putrid part

Rust can be good, but hard to say aswell since the colors seems to be transformed by the photo

cool i like the saturacion

but dont forget that rust is "rusty" so it is like marble - divrent shades not smouth surface - dots , end difrent saturacions end so on (thats actualy quite dificult .... as whole rusting is chemical proces of oxydacion end as such works like flame but on difrent scale end time )
