Chest of Colors forum

How are you guys doing with the goals? I think mine are coming along very nicely.

Start using my new painting studio. YES
Implement a new layout for my blog. YES
Meet Skrit and Thomas at some event, and maybe other CofC members. NO (and not likely to happen in 2011)
Go to a paint get-together. NO
Try to get Jasper (Mordred) more involved into the hobby again. NO (he joined me to DUZI, with an entry of his own, but I doubt he will ever be involved again as in the past)
Visit the following events: Crusade (Belgium), Duzi & GD Germany. 2 out of 3 (missed GD Germany)
Paint.... something...? Maybe 5 good quality figures is a realistic number... 4/5
Expand my collection of basing materials. YES
Write more on my blog, 50 posts is the minimum, 75 will be great. 33/50 (it's still possible )

yes, yes but too slow, yes, partially (won 1 of the categories of the online comp), yes.
it looks good on paper, but two words need to be stressed and underlined - TOO SLOW.

nah still focusing on 2011, although I must admin I have some wild plans for 2012

I think I'm doing quite well with my goals:


1. Paint more. more or less
2. Paint more regulary. more or less, but I find it easier to just sit and paint and get 'in Da Zone'
3. Paint better. Check! I guess
4. Take part in a competition (maybe in Poland). Check! - 4 competitions: 3 prizes (2 golds) - not bad I'd say
5. Socialize more. Check! - Euro, Hussar, London meeting and a lot more trolling on forum

3. Finish my Necron army NO, project is dead...
4. Increase my painting skill. - sort of...
5. Paint historical mini. - YES
6. More Blanchitsu. - NO
7. eBay. - NO

50/50. I'm not satisfied... Maybe 2012 will be better.
