The mini is great, now I want to see it with base in the showcase section!

Hi again, been quite busy today and have got Boromir onto his base, it is far from finished as I have alot of things to add which will take a while longer but here he is as he looks at present.

I hope you are all enjoying the way this is progressing as much as I am, now to paint some Warriors of Minas Tirith and a couple of other bits and bobs to put on the base.

The base is great! Very like the feel of the movies. On his own the base is too big but you already mentioned you'll pt more on it so I'll just shut up...

Just to keep you up to date here is the trial mini for the Warriors of Gondor that I intend to use on the base, I amplanning on putting 6 or 7 of these guys on and also maybe a couple of Ithilien rangers too.

I agree with Tyler, heck if you're going to GD I would enter it just to see how it does!

Thanks I may enter it this year if I ever get it done I'm not sure of the legality of the base though as it is a Groundforge base.

Just a quick update on this this is an image of one of the Warriors of Minas Tirith completed and ready to be added to the base, I have 4 more in various stages of production but this is the look I am going for on all of them. The lip on the face is too red in the image and will be corrected before it goes on the main base.

In total there will be 6 or 7 of these dependant on space as well as a couple of Ithilien rangers so still a long way to go.

Your metallics are really great!:) Very cleanly painted, yet they look worn and authentic.
