that looks great! I naver had a good idea for painting such scales and you gave me very good example! :D
I'll be watching the progress on this model - I'd like to paint it one day and add to my cryx force :)

I'm sure liking that cloak. Very nifty! Interesting color combination I never would have thought of. I'll keep an eye on the rest fo this to see what else I can learn.

This figure has always intimidated me because of the scales on the cloak, but yours looks really nice. I'd be tempted to push the highlights some of the brighter scales just a bit, but don't overdo it. The reds on the front are looking good, but seem to be starting to venture into the realm of orange. Not sure how I'd change that--maybe mix some very light purple with the red for the top highlights.

Still looking great. A question: what was your inspiration for the cloak? Is it a skin of a beast, gold-plated fabric, something else?

the cloak has that texture by itself.
The idea was to try some color pattern that would highlight the beautiful texture itself. That why I decided for a light reflective effect that would recall the idea of a fabric with kind of metallic fiber in it (or silky maybe?)
