the bones could be improved by a few really thin layers/washes of brown colors: flesh wash, smoke, chestnut, etc.

But they need to be really thin - just to enrich the colors a bit...

Good work on the cape.
Some parts of the bone look chalky. The horns for example. I too would recommend to shade the bone some more.

regarding bone parts: it was supposed to be a mini for gaming. bone armour was painted using ..ummm... non-wet blending method ;) :bonk:
I'm now slowly trying to improve it, but still do not treat it as a display piece. thx for tips though, I'll use them next time :) Or perhaps now... I don't know myself.

Nameless, use heavily dilluted washes They really can change a lot and even cover the chalkiness. The effect is easy to achieve and looks good!

you mentioned different washes Mahon. What would be the best way to use them:
1. wash, corrections, another wash, corrections...
2. wash, wash, wash, corrections?

i often used smoke mixed with flesh wash 1:1, and heavily thinned.

when I have much time I often work the back-and-forth way: wash, correct, wash, correct, etc.
but for faster jobs I often just apply a wash (thinned a bit) and after a momnent I wipe my finger across the surface - it collects much of the wash from protruding parts and leaves it in the recesses...

Gargantoid: almost finished fur, defined pattern on his back better (black wash around it, stronger contrast between shades and highlights), teeth and claws, red something on legs.
I need help with eyes. They should be black. They look boring painted with black only. Help, please :)

Death knight - I hate you guys. He was supposed to be a gaming model. After your remarks and tips I spend my time trying to improve him. At his side - something new. I've chosen eldar model to paint a mini with at least slightly brighter colors. Cloak needs few corrections but it's not far from being complete.

impressive, because it is big? ;)

I got problems with taking good photos. I'm sure there is "correction of white" mode somewhere in my camera, but I don't know where ;)
