this hobby for all of us , it's a passion (i think)

we love to talk about, to exchange opinion about minis, about techniques, about history and so on

my point of view: the scibor controverse wouldn't be if scibor share or participate to the several discussion we find here or others forum

at the beginning, the only negative point vis a vis scibor was his attitude:"i came on forum put my pictures to inform you that they are for sale and nothing more"

and french people dislike this kind of attitude
we are here to progress all together, that's why all these forums exist

so my personnal advice to scibor: participate and everything will be better (BTW i see you begin to change :D)

I think we all agree that if he were more active there would be less negative reactions to him...

Can anyone give us english language links to sites which teach 'stamping' method? I mean Scibor can't be the only one with this method ...... I'd also be interested to know what the computer programme he is using, is it easy to obtain?

I too would be interested, purely from the point of I like to learn about neat little trricks and things, even though I probably will never use it in the future. . . . .

@Scibor - willing to share? I know you described your technique here before I believe in general but would like to know some of the details like the saftware, if you are willing to share, if not, that's okay too.

Guys, if he's using the type of equipment I'm thinking he's using, it's a professional grade laser milling machine. They are extremely expensive and take a good bit of practice and skill to use. I have a friend who looked into getting one because it would go nicely with his wife's business. Think thousands, not tens or hundreds, of dollars/euros/whatever.

Now, maybe he has a smaller one or whatever, but don't really expect to duplicate his set-up without a substantial investment.

There was a tutorial somewhere that basically showed how you can do very basic stamping-type stuff by carving a pattern into a full hardened piece of A&B or similar super-hard epoxy. They you can very lightly coat it in oil or water (depending what you're pressing into it) and press in something like GS to take the pattern.
