For a minute I thought airbrush too! Even more impressive done with a brush, I certainly cannot do it!

naaaah, doesn't look like airbrush. looks like good old smooth blending with a brush. well done, mate! :clap:
and the base is very cool, despite the kind of wire you used...

Yeah, I felt a bit sorry for cutting it up though, as I can't buy them anymore ;)

Practice dude!! :) I use two brushes, one I use for applying paint, the other one I keep damp and use it to feather the applied colour into the existing layers. It's a bit hard to explain, and takes a bit to get used to. I picked it up form an interview/article done by Ali McVey in No Quarter magazine I think. Maybe I should do a tutorial sometime, if I can find someone with a camcorder :think:
If I can't, you'll have to come over so I can teach you :D

GW wire. Only barbwire-wannabe stuff I have I'm afraid. I don't like to use it, but I needed it to fill up a void on that base.
Can you recommend something better? :)
