Sorry I don`t get your point. The have a pirates based game system, so what other miniatures should they sculpt for it?

Well from a business standing point I trust that they probably invested on pirates because they were their best sellers? Only they know the resons to concentrate efforts on pirate themes.

I like pirates, so the more the merrier, but I will rather buy Tale of War pirates than the Freebooters figs. ToW's figs have more character that appeals to me. And I always felt like Freebooter figs were a bit pricey. At least in my local shop...
