since when tentacles are not your cup of tea?

Reaper's sculpting quality varies heavily between pieces. Things like slime above are ...well, can't say anything more than Pae has already said.
I always wonder though why are such crappy pieces main element of discussion and interest here (or anywhere). Those are produced for RPG gamers who want their dungeons filled with all kinds of D&D monsters. Why do we - as painters/collectors - concentrate on them, not really nice sculpts like those presented by Pae? With the exception of a warrior, I find these scultps really good and I'm pretty sure they'd be praised if they were released by another company. Now, Reaper shoots its own feet by realeasing slimes and making us think about poor, not good sculpts.

I only don't like the shark-man and the last thing. The scifi girls are ok, but not quite my thing.
Others are either good or very good.
Why do people pay attention to things like the slime? I think they're very interesting and most other companies don't release such creative pieces of... slime
