i like the detail of all of the models, but i feel they are now starting to repeat itself, there was a marauder already, no? is AOW going a skirmish game with armies? or is it staying with the original game rules?

I think that shield is diectly from the marauder champion mini. I am all for repeating stuff it looks nice and fun to paint. I like the previous marauder better as a stand alone sculpture, but I think I'd prefer to paint this newer one. Don't ask me why. It's like a lot of the enigma and hell dorado mini's I bought. Loved them enough to buy and assemble them but for some reason I just lose all inspiration to paint them when I get them in the hand. Too much detail maybe? Dunno. I can't even remember what my point was. Oh yeah, I am going to buy this mini.
