Chest of Colors forum

The models are OK but the colors really kill it for me... Imagine these guys at Mcvey or giraldez with total freedom to paint them out and I would bet these would look fresh and a lot better... This is a good example that no matter how good is your technique if the colors suck its never going to be a special mini.

Im very dissapointed. I wasn't expecting miracles but the dwarves were decent. These have the bodies of the regular orcs from their fantasy line, only arms and heads are different here... Meh...

As a space orc player I was hoping for cheap alternatives for 40k... I might still get a box or two of those but not sure now. The space dwarves are much better in my opinion. Oh well...

Starship Troopers meet IG?

I find quality of sculpt the same between the sf dwarfs and sf orcs... the paintjob makes all the difference though.

Oh well, maybe You're right... maybe my expectations were a bit to high.

I was mostly dissapointed by the fact they're just regular orcs with sf bits on them, but the longer I look at them the more I feel that I can live with that.

They're far from perfect, but you get 20 for 20 pounds. If I remember corectly you get 10 boyz from GW for the same price.
