not the biggest fan of this approach myself, but I like their minis nevertheless.

awesome. one of their best. and one of the best lizardmen available.

lizardmen are not GW's idea. they've been present in fantasy worlds before and are available in many different miniature ranges.
of course GW often used "external" concepts, races, etc.

I really like this lizardman!

I believe they will be (with some uncertainty due to unknown price). they are just nothing I would buy or paint.

I don't need a unit of plastic slayers. Many people certainly do...

Here's the unknown prices
As I already commented the plastic sets will be available in two formats:
Regiment boxed set (20 to 24 minis, depending on the troop type) at 25EUR
Horde boxed set (32 to 26 minis, depending on the troop type) at 35EUR
I like these I think theres lots of potential for convos there.

ah, thanks, all is clear now...
gw plastic dwarf box with 16 minis is like 20EUR....pretty similar price. but, you can only buy metal slayers - 5 for almost 20EUR...

I know there is potential for convos, I know they are simplified sculpts (casting, quicker paintjobs for gaming), I know all that. I'm not saying these are bad, just that I'm not a target for this product :)
