Tricky. I'll try this on my minis.
Eldar is great, but IMO those gems are wird. I don't like them. They look plastic for me.

Cool eldar Mr Rip. The front is very good. The freehand on the back doesn't seem to be on the same level as the whole front though. I agree with Mahon that it looks too thick or massive. Look forward to the finished fig.

yep you right......it's too big when you compare to the rest
i have my period "try to do like bragon" but i'm so fare away

but i'm too lazy to restart the back, so i think i'll let it like that
in fact i had again some freehands on it
and if you look well, i made a mistake on the gems....i put the reflexion on the bright part instead of the dark one......

what do you mean though? emphasising on getting the light right on a mini, making the colors work together and not focusing so much on cleanness, also with freehands?

do you've seen bragon freehanhds........they are amazing
and the sense of colors he has and he is a master in placing lights

i see his freehands. never said they are not amazing, but like you say he is best at placing lights and hence doesnt need to focus 100% on cleaness. never said its a bad thing, just his style
