Some of the figs that are on my desk atm:

Started this one yesterday. It's for a gaming set for me and a friend. After the immortals, I'm going to paint his westerners. It's not really tabletop, nor showcase...

The next one is something I'm working on every now and then. A limited set of colours and an easy sculpt make this one a lot of fun :)

I hate that biatch alexia - she was such a pain in my cryxian a$$ in mkI... when I think about her death magic...
as for paintjob I like infinity dude the most - very cool idea for armour!

im very impressed with the wip of the infinity guy too, it looks awsome. The veins on the big pig helldorado demon thing is nice :). Cant wait to see them finished. The face of the lady seems very emotionless to me, it's pretty cool but i wouldn't highlight the area above her lip so much as it looks like she has a bit of a milk moustache :) but all in all it's going well !

Emotionless was what I was going for. It's Alexia from PP and I've let myself guide by the storyline around her.
I really didn't think of the lip as a milkmoustache  But you're right. I will leave it this way though :)

The infinity Hac Tao is my fav too. I'm taking my sweet time for that one though.

The veins on the demon didn't really work out too well. Too thin paint and a bit too much on the brush I guess. But it doesn't matter, I'm having fun with that one :)

thanks for the comments!!

Well i think your work is awesome Tomaz, and tbh alexia's face the danger of posting only the face as a tease and such a close up i think is we only see what is shown and not the whole. Still really good tho i think going for emotionless works well then.

The veins i didn't really notice them being anything too wrong i like them :) i mean if you look at your own veins etc they are never a consistent thing and will change a little here and there.

I've been so tempted by the infinity stuff for so long but im trying to be good and finishing what i have first.

teaser's nose-mouth area needs to be corrected, but I'm sure you know it very well :)

I just want to appologise in advance that I will be stealing that idea for a base. Really cool work there so far.

No need to appologise, we all steal here... I think :shifty:
I made it out of milliput. I added a decent ammount on the base and worked on the shape with a slightly wet sculpting tool.
If you're interested in the colours:

Basecoat: VGC bonewhite
Wash: P3 Burned umber + black
Wash: VMC Cavalry Brown
Highlights: Bonewhite + white
Glaze: Cavalry brown (to bring some of the colour back in)
Final highlight on the edges with white.
I added some pebéo 'burt sienna' pigment around the stones and in the deeper cracks to add a dusty feel.

The infinity figs are great. The sculpts are a joy to paint . And the castings are mostly of a good quality. The only thing that brings them down sometimes are the awkward poses :) You really should pick some up! You know you want to... :P

If anyone is interested in the colours of the infinty fig:

Lightbrown is:

Base of P3 Hammerfall Khaki. (khommado khaki)
Shades: adding P3 Gun Corps Brown (graveyard earth)
highlights: Hammerfall Khaki + P3 menoth white highlight ( close to a 50/50 mix of white and bleached bone)

Darker brown:

Base of Gun Corps Brown
Shades: adding black
Highlights: Gun Corps Brown + Hammerfall Khaki and eventually some Menoth white highlight.

Again thanks for the comments guys!

Cool skin on the helldorado immortal. I've heard that HD minis are sometimes pain in da azzz (so many pieces)-true?

It depends. You have very few parts to assemble on most of them. 9 times out of 10 you have to glue (or pin) on a weapon and the rest is all in one piece.
Some of the figs are a pain to assemble yes. Mostly because they are smaller and finer detailed than they look. They have some weird assembly points and on human sized figs those are very hard to pin because they are so small.

The biggest problem I've encountered is that for some reason weapons etc break very easily. Not rackham-easy though ( I can't remember how many feet I have broken off by removing the tab on rackham minis  )
