about 8 thousands polish soliders gathered in small forest all day long were repulsing attacks of russian army: over 45 thousands infantry and 13 thousands cavalry;

doesn't it sound like you could love the idea of starting a doomed uprising and losing it, causing acts of retaliation from the occupying forces against Polish people. how can you not love Polish acts of patriotism
