Yeah that T.V. trey in front of my couch is my painting area......
It works great!
You can see my box of bits.... with the blue sack.. my many napkins I use to clean brushes under one of them is my paint box..... My light pointing directly at me for optimal night painting!

I spoke with soliders on forum dedicated to military:
if vegetarianism is allowed than painting miniatures must be allowed too!
