Scale is not compatible with GW armies... and since mantic are developing things for their own game only, I think a balance between mainstream common races and some not so common races would be on their best interest... apart from that I have no clue if the elfs or the insect people will do well... I think they will lose a lot from the diference of scales but thats just me.
