it's good to have thin layers

now you only need more of them

Very vibrant red but i think it could do with a bit more of a highlight. I really like this, it's neatly painted and has some really good complimenting tones, have you thought anymore about what base you're going to put him on? I really like the skin tones and the expression on his face, it works very well.

seconded - highlights would separate elements or sculpt and make it much more eyecatching

Hi thanks,
the red turn out really nice, the red/blue wash helped a lot
Nameless what do you mean with darkline?
As for the highlights the last wash darkened everything, i will try to fix it.
Artica any sugestions on the base? its always the worse part for me, i cant remove im from the base since this mini has been glued for about 10 years

this is the second and last time i will paint him.
The base must be like the base of the Angel of redemption, since this mini is going to be the techmarine of the army.
Thanks

Nameless what do you mean with darkline?
dark lines, shading to separate different parts of the mini, create 3d effect, make some elements stand out... you made something like that on the armor - darker shade by metallic trims.

oh that i was thinking of a dark line, i think with the highlight it should do the trick.
The final wash did two things, it blendend all the colors but removed the contrast.
Well its not done yet

i just dont want to go in to a orange or a shinny color.
Maybe i can use some kind of mix like:
Highlights: vomit brown
shadows: same formula but adding black Mechrite Red + nightshade blue (old citadel paint)
what do you think?
