I'm sure it's posted somewhere, but I'm at work and can't spend too much time looking. Who painted the 2nd Place SF Unit? I want more pics of that Khawarij in the center. The conversion looks really cool, and I want to try to do something similar, but I'm gonna need to try to get more pictures from different angles. Any help would be great, even if it's just a username so I can send a PM.

Thanks guys.

Przemo, got any addition shots of that Khawarij from other angles? I should hopefully get mine tonight, and I really like that conversion. I'm assuming that, like every other model i've seen that isn't the basic line infantry, the arms are separate. It looks like you completely removed the rifle from the right hand, and added a knife to the left. Is it really just something that simple? If so, pics of the altered arms would be great.

Thanks for the quick responses.

I can try to make some additionally photos for tomorrow ok?

And something more about the conversion:

left arm belongs to hanzakuts. I cut off repeater from it and sculpted CC weapon (I've used some plasticard and GS, too). I also had to cut off a left khawarij's hand from his gun and than resculpt the gun

right hand belongs (probably - I dont remember) to khawarij. I've "opened" his hand and than added Fiday's sheath there.

Both arms are in quite strange positions so I had to use some GS to fill gaps between torso and these arms.

I've tried to make as many conversions in my Haqq army as I can. I can mention some interesting: 2 converted kums, hanzakuts sniper. I've got also scratch built Naffatun, Mayamoto, Ninja and Juan.

It's nice to meet there Haqqislam player:) Can't wait to see your army:)

Tomorrow is just fine. I'll play around with my models tonight, hopefully, and see what kids of poses i can come up with. I already know the Hunzakut is going to probably get his rifle swapped for an I. Guard grenade launcher.

I'm playing Haqqislam and Yu Jing, but I'm painting up demo forces for a local distributor to use to run demos to get stores interested in carrying the line. I'll make sure the pics show up here on CofC. I'm just going for a tabletop quality with minimal highlighting and shading, but I'll still share them here. Painting things this simply has certainly been a fun change of pace.

Thanks for taking some pics and giving me more info.

And thanks, Mahon, for letting me hijack this thread a little.
